A NOTE FROM PERSEPOLIS PICTURES:

WELCOME 2012!

First we want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR and THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our inaugural project ‘I Am Neda’. In the fall of 2011 we wrapped ‘I AM NEDA’ just in time for screenings at two festivals, The Santa Rosa International Film Festival  where Nicole Kian Sadighi was also invited to speak on a panel and the ARPA International Film Festival.

At present, we are awaiting acceptance letters from a myriad of film festivals that will qualify us for 2013 Oscar consideration in the "Short Film" category and as momentum continues to build, we are confirming interviews and special appearances so stay tuned!

We will keep you posted on 'I Am Neda' screenings in your area as we can’t wait to share the film with you. Thus far, the response to the Film and Neda’s story has been inspiring. We have had nothing but positive reaction audiences. To say that we are proud of the final result would be an understatement. As you know Persepolis Pictures strongly believes in her legacy, and ‘I Am Neda’ deserves to be seen by the world.

We thank you for your continued interest and kind support of encouragement in this important project and will keep you updated accordingly.

From everyone at Persepolis Pictures and 'I Am Neda' team, we want to wish you good health, much wealth, happiness and success in all you do!

Highest regards,

Want to Get a Sneak Peek at the Making of 'I Am Neda'?

For the making of 'I Am Neda', real butterflies were used with Green Screen Technology for one of the scenes in the movie. This is a sneak peek at the behind scenes.

Cinematographer David Bartlett and the crew were trying to wrangle and encourage the butterfly to fly within the glass container. In the end they finally got the money shot. It turned out to be a beautiful in the movie, once it had been formatted in post-production.
